- To be considered for an Almshouse place, applicants must be a person(s) in need: single (or divorced), widows/widowers or couples who are resident at the time of application in the following areas, in this order of priority:
- the area of benefit (Belper);
- the adjoining parishes within the Amber Valley Borough Council area.
- While primarily observing the above qualification, when appointing residents to the Almshouses, the Trustees may in certain cases give some consideration to those not currently meeting the these qualifications but who have family already resident in the area.
- Please note that there are currently no vacancies for accommodation . Should you wish to be placed on a waiting list, please complete the application form.
